    I'v just been offered 'The Last Starfighter, on Laserdisc , however , I'v already got the region 1 DVD and am wondering if the LD has any +points over the DVD version .

    I got THE LAST STARFIGHTER on LD about 1990. It's P & S. I'm not positive, but I don't think it was ever re-released in widescreen. The region 1 DVD can't be touched by the LD, not even close....Happy holidaze!

    Haven't seen the LD. But it's hard to imagine how the excellent R1 DVD can be improved upon.....
