As this film is not available elsewhere, looks like I'll have to buy the VIPCO release.

Anyone know what the print is like?

As its Vipco  its almost certain to be mastered off a 10th
    generation vhs bootleg tape :D
As its the only version available looks like I'll be forced to buy
it :)eek: the first time i've ever brought one of Vipcos DVDs)

The print (rather than vhs tape) it's been mastered off is apparently in good shape and looks very nice. I'll believe it when I see it, myself. It has to be said, even with their "best" releases, Vipco's transfers look pretty bad as far as print quality goes. You can guarantee it won't be anamorphic either. And there'll more than likely be a bit of background noise on the audio.

Watched it yesterday. Apart from the opening 30 sec shot of the airport (which looks diabolical through picture noise, compression artifacts, etc) it does actually look pretty good. The print's in good shape with minimal specks etc , but there's a bit of background noise on the audio from time to time. As usual, they haven't framed it properly - instead of being the appropriate 2.35:1, it's framed at about 1.66 - 1.77. It doesn't compromise the set-ups, but when it's not right it's not right. Of course, it isn't anamorphic either but that's to be expected. It's definitely one of their best looking releases though.
