The Innocent 2021 spanish thiller

I saw this Spansh thriller 8 part series and thought I'd give it a go as I've seen the lead before. I think he was in The Invisible Guest, a Spanish movie which was very good.

Anyway I've watched 6 of 8 so far and it's fair to say if you love twists and turns this will have your head the wrong way round.

I read that it's about a man who accidently kills a man in a fight, he spends 4 years in prison as it was accidental. He meets a lady comes out marries her and they want to settle down together.

That's basically the first 10 minutes.

That's all ill say because recommending thrillers is hard without giving things away.
Each episode so far has been very well thought out, the back stories are excellent.
As it goes on some of it will be a hard watch for some people as it's violent.

As I say only seen 6 so far but highly recommended.

I can imagine they will make a English speaking watered down version but if you get the chance it's worth a watch.

Having watched all this, it is indeed relentless, and a very tough watch. The misogyny and violence towards women is pretty unforgivable though. I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Goodness knows why I sat through all the episodes
