According to the french site

There is a 4K UHD release coming of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit Trilogy in December 2020, this is still not an official statement but could be great news if true.

It currently has a release date of 9 december.

the website states that the release would include both the Theatrical Cut as the Extended Cut of the 3 Hobbit Movies.

Interested in the extended versions as I didn’t get those ones originally.

wonder what the price will be.

2K uprezzes no doubt so i’ll wait and see what improvement they are.

Do like these movies though and i’ve watched Pt 1 umpteen times.

I lose interest rapidly in Pt 3 after Smaug though so if it only comes in a set, i’ll let the pre orderers pay the big bucks and pick it up half the price down the line.

Lol at that site putting their watermark on fan art taken from Reddit.
