This month Hisense launched the B7120 Roku TV series – the first TV using the Roku OS in the UK.
Roku is a household name in the US, where one in three TVs sold has the Roku Smart platform built-in but until now the Roku OS has only been available in the UK across Roku’s streaming sticks. Available in 43”, 50”, 55” and 65” screen sizes, it aims to deliver a high-end TV experience at an affordable price. Here’s a few reasons why the Hisense Roku TV is more than a smart TV.

Smart TV made easy.
Hisense Roku TV models are powered by the Roku OS which has been specially optimised for TV, making them simple to set up and incredibly easy to use. They feature a customisable home screen that combines all entertainment choices in one overview, including streaming channels and traditional inputs such as TV set top boxes and games consoles.

The Hisense Roku TV boasts one of the widest (and ever expanding) selection of apps and entertainment services out there letting you choose from 5000+ streaming channels from the Roku Channel Store including popular streaming services such as Netflix, Apple TV, Prime Video, NOW TV, Google Play and Spotify.
You’ll be able to stream the most talked-about movies and original series as soon as they’re released—so you never have to miss a thing.

Freeview Play is also added allowing you to catch up on your favourite shows from the last 7 days on BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My5 and UKTV Play whenever you like, or pause and rewind live TV with no boxes and no monthly fees.

Filled with tons of entertainment the Hisense Roku TV lets you immerse yourself in a world of entertainment to suit every need.

Watch in breath-taking 4K HDR detail
And it’s not just about the content. Get the full 4K experience with the Hisense Roku TV, with 4x more pixels than traditional Full HD, for highly picture quality and pin-sharp clarity. The Hisense Roku TV also supports HDR10 (the current industry standard for High Dynamic Range in consumer televisions) and HLG HDR formats to dramatically enhance detail by maximising contrast and colour accuracy for more true-to-life colours and amazing levels of clarity. The detail in the darkest areas of a picture aren't lost. Equally, very bright areas of a picture don't blow out.

Easier ways to control your TV
Designed to fit comfortably in your hand, our simple remote has everything you need to control your TV seamlessly, including one-touch access to Freeview Play and popular channels like Netflix.
Alternatively, you can use the Roku Mobile App and turn your iOS® or Android™ device into the ultimate streaming companion. Search with your keyboard, use voice search, enjoy private listening with up to three friends, cast to your TV, and more.

Get the personal touch
The Hisense Roku TVs home screen is fully customisable allowing you to rearrange the order of apps so you can get to the content you know and love more quickly or change the theme colour to reflect your style. To help you remember which inputs are which, you can also rename these to correlate with devices you have connected, such as ‘HDMI 2’ to ‘Game Console’.

Want to know when that movie at the theatre becomes available to stream? Or when your favourite series is back on TV? Add it to ‘My Feed’ and get automatic updates about availability, price drops, where it’s free, and more.

To avoid disturbing anyone else in the house but still letting you crank up the volume on that action flick, private listening via the Roku mobile app lets you listen to your TV through headphones to hear every detail without any distraction to you or your family.

Fast and easy search
Search by movie title, TV show, actor or director to see where to stream your favourite shows for free or at the lowest price. Results are always ordered by price, with free titles always listed on top removing any bias. Available for iOS and Android devices, the Roku mobile app offers voice search for those times the remote has slipped down the edges of the sofa.

Automatic software updates
Even after you buy it, your Hisense Roku TV keeps getting better. With automatic updates, you’ll get the newest features and the latest software without having to think about it.
