My copy of this dvd has some distortion on the dialogue. The speech itself is clear enough but it is accompanied by a crackle at certain points. It is most noticeable in the scene where Gene Hackman is in Danny DeVito's office after the first robbery to sort out his share of the takings.

I've listened to it through the receiver/ AV speakers and solely through the TV's speakers and the distortion is constant, so I know it is the disc.

    Has anybody else experienced this?

How about dialogue on other discs?

I had a review copy and now I've got a 'proper' copy - both are fine

Just re-checked whole of chapter 4 and there are no sound problems on my copy.

Thanks for checking. I'd better try another dvd player and/or buy a replacement copy!
