So what guns do you all use?

I mostly play domination and my go to gun is the Weevil a.k.a. the P90 (was formerly the Kuda). Although if I'm playing on a long distance map i will sometimes swap to the 3 round burst AR (icr-9? Or something).

My current choice for loadout is the weevil and the 4 round rocket launcher (i almost have all the camos). Then I'll bring the trophy system for capturing B or defending my guys defending B flag. Then I'll take flak jacket and i cant remember the perk 2 and 3 i use. But this setup seems to work well for me... especially considering only 3 games out of the 30 or so dom games I've played has anyone else ever shot down a killstreak.

I have a play with the Locus with acog sight (think it's called something else) and that's good fun. Similar to my Sparrow bow and arrow. I use overkill with the man o war as my secondary but i need to change it back to the weevil because i only swap to it when I'm running through small areas.

I started off using the KN-44. Really love the gun. Find it good at most things. After maxing it out i prestiged it and fancied giving something else ago.

My current gun of choice is the Man O War. Also maxed out at the moment. I have the ELO Optic, Quickdraw, FMJ and Rapid Fire as attachments. With Ghost, Hard Wired and Awareness as perks.

Its an absolute beast of a gun. I play TDM most of the time and I've got a 1.43 K/D at the moment, which for me is pretty good considering what it used to be on previous iterations.

I'd definitely recommend it. I'll be gutted when it comes to be prestiging.

Just the kuda and xr2 at the moment with a host of attachments. Should really try some other weapons out.

What does the trophy system do? I chuck it on the floor but i can't see what it does!

Funny how everyone is having to use quickdraw to make up for our lack of reaction speed.

Gone are the days during MW where we can react and turn on people faster than the average COD player :(

Anyway my favourites are as follows

Gun: Gorgon
Sight: ELO
Attachments: Quickdraw, Grip, Rapid Fire

Gun: XR-2
Sight: RDS
Attachments: Quickdraw, FMJ

Gun: ICR-1
Sight: None
Attachments: Quickdraw, Grip

Gun: VMP
Sight: Sometimes RDS is aim is off
Attachments: Quickdraw, Grip, Laser sight

Man O War feels like it needs rapid fire? Although I didn't rank it up enough to try it with it on.

Don't know the names of most Guns, but so far I am quiet liking the SMG with 3 round burst.

Kuda with rapid fire is good.

Iron sights on nearly all the guns are good, so no red dot needed.

What is the thoughts on silencers, I can't seem to find a gun that can use a silencer and hold its own - the damage drop off is strong (but a fair penalty imo).

After a couple days playing with the Weevil, Vesper, and the one that shoots 4 round burst shots I've decided to go back to the Kuda (despite really enjoying those guns... especially Vesper when RnG). With ExMags and RF, the Kuda is seriously beast mode. The recoil is manageable, even at distance and it has the stopping power to dominate jackballs. The only problem is it still chews through ammo so you either need fast mags too or a good secondary if coming into a room of 3 dudes.

Weevil is pretty decent silenced. So is the Kuda. But I'd couple it with Long Barrel to counter the range drop in damage (a little). I actually use a variation in my loadouts depending on what style I need at the time. I think right now I have the Kuda silenced. I took off the silencer on my Weevil.

Vmp with fmg grip and rapid fire.

Mostly using the VMP and Vesper at the moment with silencers, grip and stock attachments. Been switching between sparrow, vision pulse and scythe as my specialists and always carry a frag or two as my lethals. Love chucking a cooked grenade into a building when you know somebody is in there. :D

I maxed the kuda and now my new favourite is the man o war AR.
Man O War is excellent with stopping power. Only problem is you need the grip or else it recoils like a mother. Or you could feather the trigger, because if you hold it down it will get even more all over the place.

Yeah I tend to feather it a bit. It's pretty powerful so if you have your aiming head on a short blast will drop someone.

I've not moved on from the KN44 assault rifle with a variation on the RDS (the one that glowed up red or blue dependant on if you are targeting a baddy). I normally couple this up with QuickDraw and Grip for maximum stability.

My secondary in the rocket launcher (can't remember the name, has two rounds and locks onto UAV's or Counter UAV's or can free fire into enemy rabbit holes).

Semtex and concussion grenades, I liked using bouncing betties and Claymores in previous CoD's but find the equivalent trip mines in this are useless.

Perks are normally:-
Slot one - Blind Eye
Slot two - The one that gives you a starting boost to your score streaks
Slot three - The first me that means your jump pack boost doesn't blip on the radar.

I need to try an LMG setup as used to loved those on previous CoD's.

I'm having the most sucess with the Kn44 paired with a RDS, quickdraw and grip. Secondary is the blackcell, it's 4 rocket capacity is excellent for shooting down killstreaks and gaining lots of points. I'm a slower/conservative player so tend to go with the trip mine and a couple of flashbangs to slow enemies down. My perks are usually 6th sense, fast hands and the one that allows you to hear enemies more easily.

I unlocked the icr last night so have been using that with this set up too.

I wish I was good enough to use the SMGs effectively because their so much fun to use, but every time I do my gameplay speeds up and I end up going negative as my reactions and aim just aren't there.

The problem with SMGs in this game is that every map has medium to long lines of sight when trying to get in close to the enemy. So unless you hover in a general area waiting for the enemy then you're going to have to traverse those medium to long LOS areas and risk getting taken out by a gun that is better suited to that range. The only map perfect for SMGs across the entire map is Nuketown. And then possibly that one with the whale art piece and underwater stuff on the sides... kinda looks like a museum. It has enough cover to allow for SMGs to get in close before confrontation in most areas of the map... although most of it is medium range so you will still lose out if caught at the furthest end of the line of sight against an enemy.

Evac has a lot of good SMG areas but you have to follow a pretty set pattern with it to avoid the long range LOS.

This video is very handy, it shows that if you have long barrel on any AR it will double the range on that gun!

Yah, I ALWAYS use Long Barrel as an attachment as it effectively gives you the same damage at greater range and I hate having to pump out 1 or 3 more bullets at range because I'm not using this attachment. For those not in a position to watch the vid (I'm not either), basically the damage drop off at key ranges is lessened. I didn't know it was doubled for ARs though. That's ridonkulous. Need to unlock it on the 3 round burst gun if I haven't already and play with that exclusively for a while for map control on the bigger maps.
