This makes me chuckle whenever I think of it...

It's an old movie review from The Telegraph or Independent (sorry, can't remember which), which went something like this...

    Johnny Mnemonic

For Johnny Mnemonic think Johnny Bubonic, as in avoid like the plague.

Perfect - accurate and succinct. Why can't all movie reviews be this good?

There are a couple of very famous theatre reviews (for stage plays, that is).

One review, for a play named Wham! read, in its entirety: "Ouch!".

And one review for the play A Good Time read simply: "No."

A friend of mine used to write reviews of games for the BBC Micro ( remember those days ? ). It brought in a little extra beer money for him whilst he was a student. For one quite awful 'darts simulation' he wrote...

"A more enjoyable evening might have been spent watching Joan of Arc burn at the stake"

Unfortunately it was edited before final publication.
