    JVC are about to release the UK's first HD camcorder, though it is part of their 'professional' range. It costs £3000 but only uses a single CCD. Style is similar to the Sony VX models.

    They are also releasing an SD progressive camera at £2500 which looks interesting.

    EDIT: Didn't check the link, but that's the camera I mentioned. 'Computer Arts' magazine had all the details of the UK version...

    Nice, an HD Camcorder is the dream ideally. I suppose it's worth waiting a few more years for the afrfordable 3 chip models, by which time we might have HDTVs to actually watch the stuff on. :D

    In laymans terms the picture resolution will be 3 times greater than current broadcast cameras.
