The first time I've really noticed cables making a difference - CA Scart

    I've always been v cynical about whether cables can make a big difference, until I updated the throwaway scarts connecting DVD and Freeview to my TV. Changing to some cheapish proper cables (Cambridge Audio £9.99) has got rid of all the ghosting etc and sharpened up the image a huge amount.

    I'm quite chuffed:)

    The trouble is that the performance improvement does not continue if you then spend even more money. I'll put a small bet on that you'd struggle to see a material improvement if you then spent say £50 on a SCART lead (unless it was something else like an RGB scart lead). Doesn't stop every Tom Dick and Harry selling them though.
