I have nearly 6,000 MP3 files. Use ID3 TagIt3, to comprehensively tag them.

However, it does not allow me to edit more than one file at a time.

So can anyone recommend a tagging program that allows for batch renames etc?

eMusic Tag Editor from Abyss Audio (if you want to pay) or Jtagger (Java-based) if you don't ...

Which version of ID3 tagit are you using? I use ID3TagIt for all my own tagging and have no problems doing multiple-file modifications at all. You can highlight multiple files and then hit Ctrl-N for example and you can group-set the Artist/Album/etc information all in one go.

Another vote for Jtagger here; small, reliable, fast and Free!

Not found a Tagging function it can't do yet either
