Must mean I'm pretty happy with my lot!

It's a bit boring really, I feel I need to find some more faults so at least I have something to do at work!

    Stop it!!!!

My next upgrade will be in the sound dept. Hopefully!

I would have to spend too much to upgrade a Barco graphics 808, although if anyone can do a Cinemax for £5000 I'd be tempted!

Have you thought about getting your ears cleaned and your eyes tested? Could be a worthwhile upgrade :)

How are you getting on with Sky Nick?
My next project is ease of use.
It's looking like a Pronto/irman/ir distributor is next phase.

I'm too busy and skint at the moment though:(

I'm mainly concentrating on DVD, sky is ok for now, just off sport, not bothering with films or TV progs.

I'm not even fussed about pronto control. PQ on DVD's is really the priority.

Sky looks ok to a point, component input , Dscaler and a cheap TV card. I mean ITV digital, which probably doesn't deserve aany better, The PQ from the Box is dire, Sky plus may be my next option, then a Falcon, then hopefully a reasonable S-video, de-interlaced pic.

Laurel, if I got a Cinemax for £5k I'd give you the 808!!!!!

Just incase, for legal reasons, this was a joke and It can not be used in a court of law as any type of cantract!!! LOL.

I think we're looking at £15-20k for one!

Nick, I know you would do the right thing. :) I'd make sure it had a good home.

Has any of the forum millionaires got a cinemax then?

I paid less than that for my first house!

    Cheers

I think you're looking at around £35k for a Cine9/Max. I'd have to check the price list, and that is as new.

Yeah, I bet they don't come up second hand that often, and being a Home cinema projector they won't get sold off by companies and written off against tax etc.

Oh well, better start saving, a pond a week for 35,000 weeks should do it!

How can it possibly be better than what you sold me?!!!

Come on Roland, just what DO you get for the extra couple of quid?

Bigger screen size, brighter? I can imagine it would be better but what's tens of thousands of pounds better?

-and would ANYONE's wife let them have one? :D

Dont tell me your getting' an 808 too

I'll feel all alone with my 801s, ach, I'm hoping for a 1209, but fears of a family nightmare with a large inheritence left to me makes it look like I could be stuck with it for a while yet, not that i'm complaining, Still crush just about any LCD/DLP...
