Dear AVForums.
Hi,
This is my very first post on here. I bought a Samsung 42" plasma and the picture looks awesome since I turned the stupid DnIe off using the method mentioned elsewhere.
However I have become rather paranoid over these horrible on-screen TV logos, with FTN being the worst offender. Ive followed all the rules, such as turning the contrast and brightness down and varying the programming I watch, but on close examination of the top right hand corner of the screen, when using the screen-burn remover (signal pattern) I can see a very faint trace of the FTN logo that does not want to go away. I only watch FTN about 2 hours a week. This is not visible in normal viewing though. Will this 'FTN ghost' (eventually) wash out with normal use?
Many thanks. Jason
