Its not looking good over at play. [IMG]

I have used them for ages long before the web site was ever set up and have been a big fan of there service up until now.

However since Christmas something has gone amiss. ALL tiles released shortly after Christmas ( PREDATOR, HOLLOW MAN and WAY OF THE GUN ) are listed as awaiting stock. I order a copy of AMERICAN BEUTY which has been posted but not assigned a registered order number.

Now it may just be that they have run on a skeleton crew over the holiday period and if so then who can blame them as everyone deserves a holiday but at least the customers should have been informed of this.

Has anybody had any contact with play in the last few weeks, I have just e-mailed them and will await there response

I ordered 'The Last Fast Show Ever pt1' on Dec 30th, it shipped the same day and arrived Jan 4th.

I'm waiting to see what happens with 'Death Wish' (R1 released Jan 16th)

Could be that they are shipping out existing stock no problem but not receiving any new stock ?

I emailed my concerns to them yesterday, but no reply as yet.

Hope everything is OK with them, and this is just a blip from what has always been a first class supplier.

Doesn't look too promising at the moment though... [IMG]

I emailed my concerns to them yesterday and just got this reply. It doesn't really explain the whole situation so I've written back hoping for a clearer response.

Unfortunately we have been unable to send out dvd's from our warehouse due to bad weather. Please accept our apologies on this occasion. We commenced dispatch again yesterday. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

That last message would make sense, cos the weather in the Channel Islands - they operate from Jersey, don't they? - has been really pants for the last couple of weeks. There may have been problems with planes getting in and out.

I think they seem to be getting back on track now, though they need to update the website!

No reply to my last email, but I wasn't really expecting one as it was a bit probing as to the goings on recently.
