Please let there be a cheap Argie copy again! I'm in either way as I have a lot of playtime from the existing game.

Todays State of the Game was in stark contrast to the 'celebration' stream they did last year. Hyped for this big time!

There'll be another new console out by the time we see this. It'll be years in the end!

I'd be very happy to play the equivalent of upto lvl 30 again, but the whole end game would need to be different from the 1st game, for me personally.

Still I had some good fun on it, and it was easily Ubi's best game for a good while.

As long as they don't do a 'Destiny 2' style disaster I think it will be good. They seem to have the game in a good place now, if they undo all of that for 2 then its going to tank. DOubt I'll buy the gold edition type affair this time mind. Will defo wait it out.

Yeah I never even bothered with Destiny 2 after reading the comments on here. Sounded like they cocked it up big time.

Fingers crossed anyway it's a gooden. But by the time we have the customary setback and delays, it'll be 2020 at least before we see this! Probably 2021!

Will be keeping my eye on this, not as hyped as I was for the first one.

Hoping the city will be good, somewhere like London or Tokyo would be sweet and a change from a US city.

Hoping it would be, somewhere other than an American city would be nice.

You would imagine it would need to be a city with iconic locations/looks. Then fit in the various factions. Having an underground system also makes sense. Paris and London would be the pick of the European locations for me.

Then again there is a lot of Manhattan still available to use see The Division – Google My Maps for the overlay vs real life. Everyone wanted Central Park for a start and you have the whole lower side unused still. Maybe reusing assets and adding more would give a massive (no pun intended) area. Would fit well for the no doubt upcoming BR mode that I always thought would work better than Survival mode.

I don't think London or Paris would work imo.
I would be happy with Manhattan again, excellent city with so many variations with the underground and rooftops.

London and Paris are just a bit to open and spread out with not a varied selection of buildings.

I would say just build upon Manhattan with more open buildings and area's, I loved the contrast from the parks to the skyscrapers to the underground and buildings with the water towers.
It just works so well as a map for games imo.

I think there will be clues in the current game as to where the next one will be located, for example Rick V mentions other cities in his radio show. So I reckon they'll either expand on NYC or move to another big US city. Plus I think the sequel will focus heavily on Aaron Keener and I can't see him making it to Europe after the initial outbreak (all flights would be grounded etc).

I've started playing again this week and it is a completely different game from the one released. Night and Day.
The end game is fantastic now, I'm really enjoying it.

I can see them sticking with NYC, but just new districts. Or perhaps start in a NYC district as the opening/prologue/tutorial area, before following Mr Keener to another US city to try to prevent another outbreak. There's some many ways they could take it.

I'm hoping we get something that has a bit more of a dynamic set of environments to play in. TD1 is large and very detailed, but doesn't change much overall. It'd be good to have multiple smaller cities that you travel back and forth too, with different BoOs, flashback missions to the original outbreak in NYC, stuff like that. The potential is huge, and always has been.

Looks good, looks very much like a continuation of the original - evolution rather than revolution. I'm actually surprised how far along this seems - they must have been on this for a while now - which wouldn't be out of the ordinary normally, but I thought Massive had but on this mythical Avatar game for a long time.

Look forward to hearing more, apparently the story is about rescuing the President(!) but I'm sure Keener will be involved somewhere along the line!

Tbh, they couldn't air most team chats, certainly not ours as their bleep machine would be working overtime :rotfl:.

The game look impossibly pretty also.

Signed up for the beta the second they mentioned it in the reveal video :D

Good that anyone can sign up to it too, unlike Fallout 76 where you only can only join the beta if you pre-order it

@Cha1ky Haha aye the team chat is always cheesy af in Division videos.
