Francis Ford Coppola's gangster epic 'The Cotton Club' is coming to DVD! Any news on what the disc will include? Will it be a Special Edition? Initial reports indicate 1.85:1 anamorphic, DD5.1, 'deleted scenes', the trailer and production notes. I think a documentary on this film would be fabulous as it had a very, very troubled and notorious production. One of the most infamous in film history! Soaring budgets ($50million+ in 1984 ouch!), ego battles, constant rewrites, disappointing boxoffice and even a related murder! A documentary would be as interesting as the film itself! MGM if you are listening - lets have a two disc set Special Edition on this title! That would be great!

Trivia - 'Cotton Club' stars Richard Gere and Diane Lane are re-teaming for the big budget 'erotic' thriller 'The Unfaithful' to be released 'wide' to theatres in November or December 2001.

Trivia 2 - Fred Gwynne who plays the Cotton Club owners henchman used to be Herman Munster in the TV show 'The Munsters'.
