Watched this earlier today and thoroughly enjoyed this film starring William H Macy. Worthy to be in anyone's collection.

Agreed, great movie. Shown on US TV before theater run...

My disc is on the way.

There's rumours the Canadian disc is uncut and reviews of the USA release confirm there's cuts.

I have the Canadian disc coming. I'd be surprised if it's uncut, but it's listed as NC17 in a few places.

Full marks for the cinema poster:

An excellant film indeed. Macy is great, as ever, as the underdog but with bite when cornered and Baldwin really is convincing as an hard arse. Oh and Maria Bella can warm me up any day;)

Watched that last night. 5/10 for the film. 10/10 for the soundtrack (which can be played (and recorded of course) separately in DD5.1) which is beautiful.

The Canadian disc seems uncut. It's an 18A which usually means NC17 Stateside. TBH, I wasn't intrested in seeing Macy's arse or Bello's hand on his cock. Not a pretty site. I prefer Macy's body in Fargo where it's covered in at least a 40 tog insulated material.

Not that I'm saying you guys don't want to see that :D

I can't see any mention of cuts in that review...maybe I'm blind.

This one's not on DVD Soon. :( Amusingly, on DVD Pacific: "Genre: COMEDIES & FAMILY ENT." :D :D

I couldn't see where it said about cuts in that review either.

Edit: Seems the cinema release was edited from the original NC-17 rating, to obtain an R rating. See IMDB Review.
