I used to love about 90% of it. Mind you, I have always had a crush on Jennifer Saunders:blush:

    LOL:D

I remember, Bonehead and Foyle. Running around in their underpants, putting cigarettes out on their chests.

Agreed on that score tomson & Gambit - the only time I liked seeing Nicholas Parsons on TV - being killed by Mr. Jolly (Peter Cook) at the end! :D :p

My faves were The Thug one - retake on the fly - with class lines like, "More tea Vicar...[said after farting]...Long as he keeps you moist...[don't ask]..." and Three Go Mad in Dorset - with MS Saunders getting 'em out:eek: and that bloke from Crossroads as Police Inspector/Dracula:D

Ah, I had South Atlantic Raiders on vhs, but leant it to a 'friend' who in due course lost it. :( Some real classics there with Bad News at the top of the pile [seem to recall there was a release of Warriors of Ghengis Khan...???

I picked up Bad News and More Bad News on video at some cash express shop for a couple of quid. Not bad. Course, I'll watch anything with Rik and Ade in it. I've even got "Kevin Turvey: The Man Behind the Green Door" kicking around somewhere.

Loved The Comic Strip. Particularly Mr Jolly Lives Next Door - "Just because my name's Jolly, doesn't mean to say I have to be jolly all the f*cking time", Slags, A Fistful Of Travellers Cheques and of course the uncomparible Bad News. Anyone remember Dirty Movie? Rik was a cinema manager who was trying to keep the punters away by pretending to show "The Sound Of Muzak" in fact he was having dirty movies delivered. Ade was a postman called Mr Bean if memory serves.

A video is still available of Mr Jolly Lives Next Door and Dirty Movie on one tape, though I'm not sure where from, a friend of mine got it recently.
