I have quite good experience working with different S-VHS, VHS VCRs , mini DV cams,...from Panasonic, Sony, Canon and JVC.

And I noticed, that the colours of the picture of a JVC miniDV are different. They look a bit "dirty","cold",not so bright,
as when use Panasonic or Sony....I don't like them...

Not that I do not like JVC as a company , but i beleive one can notice the difference....

    Recently, I got a JVC S-VHS VCR HR-S9700EK ( for £300, down from £550).
Read v good reviews abt it, I found it at has great engeneering and design, build quality(Made in Germany), Features, Very smooth picture, etc.....

    Really like it.

But , guess what ?!...Theese strange colours again...

If you used to it , prob. you would not notice, but more experienced users would notice this.

Did you notice the how " different " the colours of JVC are?

    What is the reason?

Is it worth keeping it ,or should I exchange it for Panasonic S-VHS ?

I will be gratefull, if you share your personal experience about this!

    Thank you .
