    Forget Star Wars, Buffy, The X-Files, Back to the Future, Captain Scarlet, Indiana Jones and Red Dwarf;

THIS should have pride of place in every 30-somethings collection.

    FAAAAAAANTASTIC!!!!

    HI,

This is one heck of a classic title, and one which I actually own on VHS, but may have to upgrade! :)

These were classics, in the truest sense of the word, and I recommend this title wholeheartedly, to anyone who loves titles that are so bad and inept, they're good!

Definitely the Ed Wood of advertising! They simply don't make 'em like this any more.

Love the one with the hooded "spirit of death" warning of the dangers of playing near deep water!

If you're around THAT sort of age (like me) and remember all those type of things, then you'll love this site: http://tv.cream.org/

It has loads of theme tunes, dodgy adverts etc etc. If you have never been on it before I guarantee you that it'll keep you occupied for hours. Enjoy.

    Karla,

The DVD will contain both VHS titles, hence the running time of approximately 2.5 hours on the DVD.

Already got BOD, The Flumps and Bagpuss on DVD. BOD is worth getting to remember just what a talented guy Derek Griffiths is. Got Morph, Chorlton and the wheelies and DangerMouse on VHS. Jamie and the Magic Torch SE DVD anyone...?

Does anyone here remember a safety film called "Building site's bite...beware" or something?

I remember seeing it at primary school, and it had this bit in it when a kid fell a long way they splattered some jam on the concrete to simulate brains - it left me permanently mentally scarred. :(

    Hi,

Talking of Derek Griffiths, what's the man upto these days? I still remember when he did that terrible kids TV show "Heads And Tails", which, if memory serves, was like a cheapo version of Play School, but with a mouse and cat, made from bits of card and paper. (And I can assure you all, I'm not getting confused with "Fingerbob" and "Fingermouse"!)

Kids Tv isn't the same as when the majority of us remember it! Even "Grange Hill" isn't what it used to be, since Mrs McClusky retired from the job! Oh, and Mr Bronson as well! :(

Pooch, the last I heard of him (literally) was doing voice-over for Jamjar.com adverts. "Just because I'm a model, doesn't mean I don't have brains". unmistakable.

    Vote Derek Griffiths!!

...nobody's got a nose like me...

Juzz, I remember it - Must have been over 20 years ago. Myself & a mate used to go looking for new and interesting building sites to go and play in. I never have paid much attention to advertising though :D :D :D
