I have just missed being able to buy buffy the vampire slayer for £18 a season on send it. :(

Could anyone please let me know where to buy them (based in the UK) for around this price??

    I need seasons 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 and dont want to pay more than £80 for all four (£15-20 per season)

I would greatly appriciate it if someone could help :)

    :lease:

mlock is a 6 disc amaray inside a carboard slipcase. they are called "m-lock" because of the "M" shaped clip that holds the discs in the case.

so do you mean that it is NOT like the original ones @ £60 odd when they came out - fold out booklet type thing.
but it IS a sleeve which holds a 6 disc plastic case inside?

precisely. M-Lock is the same type of packaging as the X-Files and Millennium boxsets. Although looking at dvd.co.uk, it looks like the boxsets may not be m-lock after all, and might just be 3 amarays inside a cardboard slipcase.

if you want the book style ones you'll have to hunt around because they're being deleted, but you can still get most of them for about £32.99 at cd-wow at the moment.

FYI, in the UK, only season 1 of buffy came in a fold-out digipak. seasons 2-7 come in imitation books, with each page acting as a pocket for one of the discs. All 5 seasons of Angel were packaged this way too. In the US, all the boxsets came in normal fold out digipaks.

i've mainly got the book ones. the only times i've ended up with different ones was when i bought the US season 3 of Buffy because the episode Dead Man's Party is uncut, and when my sister bought me the US Season 3 Of Angel last Christmas. I didn't want her spending £40-£50 on me so i suggested the R1 which was only £20 at the time. I might be tempted one day to get the R1 version of Buffy season 6 because the UK version has the scene where Willow slits the lamb's throat cut out.

Think you will only find the re-released M-Lock packages types for a decent price, same applies to The X-Files Boxsets, you can still get the original foldout releases but they are £50+ where as the M-Lock releases are just over £20, might be cheaper to sell the original releases on eBay and then buy all the M-Lock versions, I believe others have done this and actually ended up with money left over

It's actually a cardboard outer box with 3 DVD cases, each case holding 2 discs - there's a swing panel hinged on the internal spine holding one disc, while the second disc is mounted on the inside back cover of the case.

Yeah, that would be good. I've only got season 1 of Angel, so it woldn't be too much of an issue to buy a boxset of all 5 and try to flog series 1. With Buffy, I'd already got the first 5 seasons so i decided it'd make more sense to wait for offers like Sendit's to get the rest.
