Can anyone tell me which is the cheapest 7.1 amp/receiver.
Something like the Denon 3801 (around 300 quid 2nd hand) or 3802 (later model with Dolby Pro-Logic 2) can be got for around 450-600 quid. These have seven channels of amplification.
Kenwood make a 6.1 amp,i remember seeing one a while back....and its was cheap!
I believe even Denon 1803 has speaker connections for 2 rear surround speakers.
Also the pioneer 811 I think has as well.
Maybe wilber can confirm this .
Is there any particular reason you want a 7.1 amp? I dont think there is any material that is 7.1 yet.
I'd sugesst 5.1 or 6.1 done well than 7.1 on the cheap.
All IMHO or course.
I was thinking of getting a Pioneer VX-D1011 and wanted to know what other 7.1 amps where available to compare.
811 is 7.1
