YIP, you sure can. I got mine from disc emporium as play 247 dont stock it. I think I paid £19. I think Amazon have it too in USA. WHAT A GREAT FILM.
the spelling is not changling its CHANGELING
just seen that future entertainment have this title for £10.99.
WHats the transfer like mate?
Just someone recommended this film to me cos I'm into freaked out movies.
Sorry about the spelling "Doh!".
Is this the old 70's George C Scott movie?
Yes it's the 1980 George C Scott Film is it any good?
I think its a great film and the transfer is as good as you will get for an 80s film. My sister watches this film over and over again. There is no gore in this film its just a good old fashioned haunted house film with lots of creepy parts. If you like this you will also like "The Hearse" also out on dvd.
Just ordered it from Future Entertainment for £9.99. I'll look up " The Hearse" as well mate.
Thanks for your advice.
Great. Im sure you will enjoy it. Let us know what you think.
I think I will order a copy coz since you mentioned it I have noticed my sister has taken it back to london with her the thieving cow.
hey bro , who are you calling a cow ha ha, its my dvd you bought it for me
If you like I will buy you a copy NOT!!!!
only kidding you can borrow it if you like
Hey plastikman The Hearse is good but I prefer the changeling, have you seen Alice Sweet Alice??
Just to say I ordered this film of Future Entertainment (www.futureent.com) on Tuesday at 16:30 and it arrived this morning before 09:00.
What excellent delivery time and also I had no problems with the jiffy bags that were mentioned to be crap. I will definately order off them again.
Going of to watch this film after Friends on E4
thats what I call service. Let us know what you think of the film!!!
Just finished watching this film.
What can I say you were totally right. The suspense was nerve wracking, the soundtrack was very effective aswell. The transfer was also clean aswell. Once you get into a film like this you become absorbed into what is going on and forget about minor glitches that might annoy the more mundane viewer.
Also total bargain at £9.99 as it's one to show to my mates who are to scared to watch "What Lies Beneath". This will scare the sh*t out of them.
I can understand how numerous films have tried to copy this format but what I found utterly compelling was the originality, like this was totally believable, that it happened all the time, for me that made it even more freakier.
Once again thanks for your help in tracking down this film. Heard about it of a friend and how it totally freaked her out when she was younger.
If you can think of a film that can top this then please let me know.
i will get my thinking cap on and let ya know. ask my sis. sarahliz. shes well into horror
heres one for you. The Haunting from 1960. I thought that was a fantastic film. The remake is not a patch on the original. Its not out on dvd but I think its still out on video. I have it!!!
Another is Salems lot, I saw this when I was a kid and it scared the hell out of me. Even now when I watch it it freaks me out. However it is very tame compared to modern horrors.
