The Championship & EFL Thread

Neil Warnock has tested positive for Coronavirus, not sure how they can allow fans into a game at Middlesbrough when the area is a hotspot and now the manager has tested positive.

Hopefully Warnock will be OK, he's in his 70's :(

Millwall and Brentford plan to step up the fight to get fans back into stadiums by screening matches inside their own grounds on Saturday.

Millwall play Barnsley at The Den and, with pressure mounting on the Government to lift a ban on supporters attending games, the club have arranged for around 80 fans to watch the match on TV screens in hospitality areas.

Gary Monk got the boot then. His 5th managerial
position since 2014.

Sol Campbell and Phillip Neville both early candidates.

Good riddance, not an easy task with the points deduction but we was only heading backwards with him at the helm.

Tony Pulis is the bookies favourite :(

Not a fan of Tony then! What’s the points situation all about? Are they down and out? Not too late to turn it around surely?

Just the thought of more negative football!

Chairman thought he could get round FFP by selling the stadium to himself, initial 12 points but reduced to 6 on appeal so looking much better now and plenty time to get out of current position under the right manager but under Monk we’d been going backwards since the start of the year.

Worry is issues stem from the Chairman down and you wonder if he can get the right man to move the club forward

Bournemouth two up at Barnsley at half time, purely because they've taken the chances they created and Barnsley haven't. They look comfortable but you never know. I was surprised that Stanislas was on the bench, maybe they won't need him. Unless this changes, Bournemouth will be top of the table again tonight.
