Really off question but do people keep hold of their box for their tv's fro any length of time incase of any problems .

Just a box from a 40" is taking up some room how long do most people wait before binning .im guessing u bit screwed if u have to send back to supplier?

I am glad I kept my box for my 26" LCD for the last year because now I have upgraded to a 32" I can put the old one in the old box to sell it.

You are right though, they are large to keep. My box was on the rafters in the garage because I couldnt fit it through the loft opening!

I usual keep and put up into the loft - I kept the box for Philips 32" LCD for 2 years and nearly sold out - I kept 2 boxes for M87 and F86 (both 40") - I dont throw in the bin - just keep it, for selling it or return or anything.

I do exactly the same. Use it as a "floor" to stack all the other boxes on top of. Don't some manufacturers insist on original packaging for warranty repairs?
