What are people making of this game?

If it anything like the films it should be fantastic.

    New screens released from worthplaying.com

Is it just me or could the game studio not afford the rights to model the main character on Matt Damon? This will be a real shame if so

Never knew it was coming out as a game, will probably be a flop imo.

Yeah, iffy how the main char looks nothing like Matt Damon, but probably won't really notice when playing the game anyway.

Oh, now that does look cool. Hopefully it will be a mix of staying incognito, and all out action brawls car chases etc.

Demo approaching on Thursday. If this game doesn't deliver marginal critical praise then apart from the mega budget titles theres nothing to ever buy.

I saw it on TV the other day and the chap that had played it said it was great, Oh and it looks nothing like Matt Damon because it's not supposed to be him.

Looking forward to the demo :smashin:

Same way as you create a UK account but this time use a Australian address and select Australia as your location. Likewise for a HK or USA account.

Enjoyable but the loading times to restart a checkpoint can be annoying, especially when you have had to restart 3 seconds after the last load. Surely it should be able to restart immediately and not load everything again.

The graphics are good and the gameplay does bring something new. Definitely a game I'll consider buying.

Totally agree. It's a kind of trial and error game, which some will find frustrating. It's very well put together in the way it flows, and I have never played a game when it feels like you really are connecting with your fist
It's different and for that the developers deserve a pat on the back, I can see ending up on my shelf. I like it :smashin:

I'd been looking forward to this one too but the demo was really disappointing :thumbsdow

Might have another go later but out of the 4 demos that I downloaded this week (Haze, GRID, Bourne & Siren) this was the worst out of the lot. Really enjoyed Siren although it's only on the Japan + HK stores

Awful dire pap, that i've now deleted off my PS3.

The flow is totally broken by the numerous quick-time events, but worse is the fact it keeps robbing you of any freedom to play as you'd like; maybe that was ok last century, but i expect more now.

For example: when you're running about with guns, if an enemy appears who is unarmed you instantly put away your gun, and go fisty-cuffs. I tried backing off for ages (there's no way to disengage melee-mode apparently), and managed to get them caught on some crates and open up some distance, but it still wouldnt let me pull out my gun to shoot these unarmed fools :suicide: Ditto the sniper bit, or trying to avoid marines as you work you way up the stairs. Compare this to Drakes, which had very decent gun and melee combat, and it seems like they are trying to ram an interactive movie down your throat.

Do i even need to go near the driving section  If anyone can justify that pile of drivel i'd be surprised. Nope, not impressed in the least. Might be ok when it hits the bargin-bins next winter and there's sod-all else out, but £40...

You might like it. I gave it a 2nd chance and to me it should be a budget game. I liked the Bourne films so I'll pick this up when it's £10 - £15 later in the year.

There's just something very 'PS2-ish' about the overall feel to it

I had a quick blast the other night when I downloaded it, but I can't see what's overly special about it... I quite like the 'filmic' feel to it, whereby the cutscenes are interplayed with the game, but as has been said it doesn't feel like you have total control over the character... I think I might be giving this one a wide berth... Particularly with other games out soon, and with a chunk of my library still to complete (Assassins Creed, R6V1&2, The Orange Box, GTA, Burnout)
