I got engaged last night!
Well done that man!
Just ask man!
Just kind of came out of the blue a little for me, went to a pub by a lovely river, had a pint of Guinness and just asked her. We are already in the process of buying our house etc so it's the natural progression (that makes it sound very clinical but it isn't)
No ring bought as yet and definitely NOT a church wedding!
Do we get a celebratory barbecue in your new house then?
Fab news. Best of luck to you both - not that you need it. Marriage is a great, great thing.
Probably best if we have it in the garden eh!
Congratulations Steve ! All the best for the future.
Getting wed myself this summer...... thats a point.....must start on speech.
So you did it in the pub over a pint? Thats not very romantic!
Not like me....
I did it standing at the bar in a working mens club.
Good Stuff - Congratulations Steve
you could get a chiminea!!
great stuff man...all the best...it's be the sound of tiny feet next no doubt..!
well done mate
Just celebrated my first year of marriage - it's not half as bad as I thought it'd be. Never did the proper proposal thing tho - it was more of a "you know we're going to vegas soon...do you fancy getting married there?". And I, in my intoxicated state said "yes".
Congrats Steve, thats great news!
Well, the reason that we decided to get married is because.............
We wanted to!
I think the only tiny feet we will hear is if we get a budgie!
Well done Stevie Boy!! Congratulations!!
Have you told the wife yet?
All the best Steve.
I have an ex-wife to tell though
So, now that you've sobered up, any regrets
Only joking mate, congratulations hope all goes well for you
All the best for the future
Well my hubby and I were slightly merry at a rugby club do, dancing to the smoochy songs at the end of the night. He said 'I suppose we ought to get married to shut everyone up' I said 'yeah might be a good idea'. We were overheard by an enthusiatic aunt who promptly grabbed the microphone from the DJ and announced it to everyone!! Much champagne was then drunk and we woke up with screaming hangovers the next day thinking Oh my god what have we done
Haven't regretted a minute of it though - best thing we decided to do
Well done Steve - smart move
Welcome back to the club.
Hope she likes films/home cinema.
But more importantly wish you both all the luck and happiness you deserve
think smelly's way is just pure welsh tradition
Congratulations to the both you!!
Are we all invited to the wedding?
Steve - we need to have a drink to celebrate - whilst you are still allowed out.
She does.......thats how i've managed to reserve a room in the new house for a cinema room
I'm sure i'm not going to be tied to the kitchen sink (unless she likes it that way of course ) so a drink is a definite Ian. Just wish work would quieten down a bit so I can get over your way on my 'lunch hour'
Thanks to everyone for the best wishes
Well that's great news mate Got to be an excuse for a beer crawl mate. Get up here!!
