The age old question ... but can someone please offer advice !

I currently have a Hyundai bog standard 42" plasma, but am now looking to move into the HD age and upgrade.

My budget is 1k (roughly) and I am looking for another 42" plasma HD ready. One that will be compatible with Sky HD, and other inputs.

Ideally one with speakers or built in speaker, as I dont have the room size for a sound system yet. and also with a pedestal stand (I have a glass 3 tier stand for it)

Can anyone give me some advice please as it is all baffling.

£1400 gets you a panny PX60 HD ready 42" otherwise its LG and samsung but still a little over budget for a 42" i would try and stretch to the panny if possible (some great deals on at the moment)

If you can find another £400 for your budget, most peoples favourite on here is the Panasonic PX60 which is a fantastic panel(I have the 37" version)

It will be worth paying that bit extra in my opinion as a lot of the cheaper Plasmas are not up to scratch.
