Dusted down the old Dreamcast at the weekend and started to play MSR. I had forgotten how good it was...and still is!

Now I need more games and quick so which should I try and get?

Currently have

MSR
Tokyo Highway Challange - which I don't like
Sega Rally 2
Speed Devils
Crazy Taxi - no longer works:(
Resident Evil Code Veronica
Soul Calibre
Ready to Rumble

I would like a gun game so looks like HOD 2 - what others would you suggest?

Was also thinking maybe Unreal Tournament and possibly Impossible Mission.

Many thanks

depends what you are into,

shoot 'em ups:
mars matrix
zero gunner
giga wing
ikargua

beat 'em ups:
Any Street fighter games, esp both of the SF III as they aren't yet on any formats
Vampire Cronicals
Power Stone 2 (multi players the best bit)

Sports:
Virtua Tennis 2
Virtua Striker 2 ver 2000.1 is ok for a cheap punt

Racing:
F355 (tough)
Sega GT (not as good as GT3 in my book)

Something a little different:
Mr Driller - ace
Space Channel 5 1 and 2
Jet Set Radio

theres loads more, but thats a good start.

shenmue series is very good in my opinion.
But shenmue 2 goes for a lot on ebay. Look round your local gamestation for a bargain. Any game is good for £3
:)

i would strongly recommend buying ferrari f355 challenge crazy taxi 2, and get yourself an official steering wheel.
I got mine for £15 from e-bay.

Makes f355 challenge an absolute delight. Especially when you have the ferrari steering wheel! :)

Daytona USA
For a quick arcade rush, and if you can afford it or be bothered VGA is a major step up in quality, and playability is much improved with a wheel.

Rayman 2
Ooga Booga
Chu Chu Rocket (buy for a couple of quid)

All of the aforementioned scrolling shooters are great.

Buy Rez and Cosmic Smash. A little bit different but well worth tracking down. Try VGI or Ebay.

Any of the peripheral based games like House Of The Dead, Samba and Bass/Marine Fishing go down well with non gamers as well. But Samba ain't cheap.

Many thanks for all of those suggestions.

Off to ebay to try and find some bargains.

Cheers

John

Rez definitely gets my vote. It's a little weird at first - very abstract, but once you get into the rhythm (quite literally) of the game it's really absorbing, especially if you've been tinkering with your brain ;)
