    hi there could anyone tell me how i can tell the difference bewteen the original and the remastered version

    The original has poor picture quality, the remastered has superb picture quality - Easy really.

    The remastered also has a True HD instead of DD 5.1 alongside the PCM track.

    ok kev i never had the original i was wondering if there was like a sleeve difference and it seems there is with the truehd track:smashin:

    I had the original and got the replacement for it from Sony. The cases looked indentical apart form the TrueHD info on the back as far as I can remember, that all.

    mine had "remastered" on the stickers that hold the case closed

    It has "Experience High Definition" in silver at the bottom like this:

    Following taken from hidefdigest.com review:

    A note on how to identify this edition on store shelves: While the box art for this remastered edition is nearly identical to the earlier Blu-ray release, the words "Experience High Definition" appear in silver foil, (not gray), and Dolby TrueHD is listed among the audio tracks on the back of the box on this new edition.

    It's both a cracking film and transfer! A definite demo disc :smashin:
