Weren't they fab? Love these programs. Thought the psuedo documentary approach was very droll and the CGI and animatronics just seem to get better.

C'mon BBC, shove them out on DVD.

Got to say i thought the one with the 'steve irwin' type presenter was utter crap! What was the point doing a Croc Hunter style documentry when the bloody dinos are not there - 'OOOOH be careful Mr. Presenter as you approach that giant Croc dino thingy it may go for you' - No it bloody well wont because its not there its a CGI effect. The reason Croc hunter style shows are such a good watch it because they are filled with dangerous animals and you dont know what they or the presenter will do next

I too thought it totally false, I wasn’t bothered about the Steve Irwing thing but I preferred the documentary style of the other in the series, introducing a person into the picture/element totally blew any credibility, and I could not take the program serious.

The shows were great, the CGI for the beeb anyhow was excellent, throwing a human being into the mix added a little bit of humour and gave a greater sense of scale.
    I enjoyed them :)

    I agree with Zone.

VERY cheesy though it may be - adding the bloke gave a much better idea of the size of the dinosaurs.

The effects were also top notch for the Beeb and put a fair few movies CGI efforts to shame.
