I have had my 37PW7 up and running for a few weeks now and am fast approaching the 200 hour mark. Generally, Im very pleased with the results, but like so many on these boards I want to get the extra few % out if I can particularly on DVDs, but also on Sky if possible (am using the JS RGB to VGA convertor). I am currently using the Sony DAVS 880 as a DVD player via component and the picture is very good, but I have no doubt the panel can be pushed further. What will see the best increase in picture quality for me:- (a) Upgrading DVD player to a Denon/Arcam (any model recommendations gratefully received) (b) ISF Calibration (c) A scaler I guess the correct answer is probably all of the above! My budget wont allow all at the same time. Should I be looking at finalising inputs (including the scaler) before ISF calibration? I wonder if anyone thinks ISF calibration and a scaler may be overkill and/or unnecessary for such a small panel size. Thanks for any input you can give.
