    Guys,
Really appreciate all the help & advice that has been posted on these boards regarding my attempts to buy both plasma & sound system.
Finally purchased the plasma (will be delivered on Wed).
    Paid £1398 for the following:
    Panasonic TH37PW7BX
Silver Pedestal stand (the new Panny swivel one)
    Panasonic Tuner/media box
    Scart board
    3 years warranty

Bought a nice storage/stand unit from Argos to put it all on for £50 as well..
    http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...001&langId=-1&catalogId=3151&productId=117773

Now all I gotta do is sort out the sounds!

Oh anyone that has the tuner/mediabox can they please post the dimensions........... :lease: not sure if it can fit on top of anything (does it get hot?)

congrats on the purchase but i fear you may be inundated with remarks about the media box. i posted a similar thread to yours regarding my panny pwd6 with said box, the first few comments i got were reccomendations to take it back. i have yet to do so but i will be soon.

apart from that you will love it!

Sell it if you dont want it. I got £215 for mine a few weeks ago, and it seemed there were alot of people after this box. Good deal mate, i have the same but the 42" - its amazing, im re-watching all my favourite SciFi, they look sweet as a nut - enjoy!

Lakes, they threw in the stand & scart board because it was the last one in the shop.
I had rang the day before to confirm availability & they advised of a couple in stock, when I went in the next day they had 1 but it had been put up on the wall for display purposes. The guy said he could do a deal if I wanted a stand as well. Luckily it had also had been fitted with a scart board & he said he would leave it "as is", advised that if I needed/wanted to connect the tuner board & media box then I should move the scart board off slot 1 as it goes into the same slot (1) & the tuner disables the other boards anyway??
Went back in the shop yesterday & the plasma is off the wall in the box ready to be delivered
btw Is it true that plasmas have to be transported upright? anyone?
