thanks. cant wait for part 3. but...how about picture settings in the bluray player?

The guides are great, i really can't wait for part 3. however, after setting everything up, how about the blu-ray player? do i also choose the "movie" setting for the player? I'm guessing if I do, which I did, the TV picture also changed. do I put the bluray player picture setting as standard instead or what? hope y'all can help.

Ideally players shouldn't have any picture settings and I wish manufacturers would stop adding them. Where your player does have any picture settings leave them well alone. If your player offers different modes then as a general rule of thumb select the Movie or Cinema mode (some have Pure or Professional mode), which should deliver an unadulterated signal to your TV. You will also still need to select Movie/Cinema/THX on your TV.
