    Popped into Music Matters in Birmingham spoke to one of the guys he suggested B&W speaker said they where good with music as well as home cinama.

    Haven,t had chance to listen to them yet.

    Any more suggestions welcome

    I think you have to remember than all these speaker manufacturers were making speakers for the hifi world long before home cinema ever existed. B&W are one of the top names in hifi speakers.

    Depends whether you prefer - REALLY tight bass or woofy, part your hair in the breeze stuff. Many people suggest a "good speaker" is a good speaker, regardless!

    If we're talking about ruler flat response with minimal distortion and colouration - who is going to be better: a company that have this philosophy at their very heart and have spent many decades striving toward it, or a "Home Cinema Speaker" manufacturer?

    Or am I just trying to stimulate a discussion!!!???

    What range (model) or budget are we talking?
    Surely there will be lot's of alternatives to consider but what suits you best has to be decided by yourself in the end ...
