My new TV arrived this morning. I ordered a TH42PX80B (cost £570) When it arrived the label on the box says TH42PX80BA. Have I been sent the wrong model?
    Many thanks

    B mean UK version
A means its the newer version of that model with extra hdmi port and higher contrast ratio.
You have been sent the correct set, most suppliers advertise as PX80B but the panasonic model is PX80BA.
Do not worry it is correct, enjoy!!

There is nothing wrong with the model. Its just that this model has the front covering in plastic instead of glass plus some software upgrades. Other than that its just the same. No worries, enjoy your new babe.

Talk of extra HDMI connections and plastic versus glass screen are all wrong.

The 'BA' version has been updated over the 'B' version with updated hardware, not software, and this will be to eliminate a design weakness in the original 'B' version.

The PX70 was similarly updated last year from 'B' to 'BA' after the infamous green line issue. The panel/pcb was redesigned to eliminate the problem.

I think you are confusing with 42PX8B. PX8 has 2 HDMIs while the 42PX80B still had 3 HDMIs.
