TH42PX600 Problem

Just got my PX600 today and im having no end of trouble with SkyHD, if i change channel sometimes i get a blank screen with no sound or other times a blue screen with sound??? anyone else had this?

EDIT - seems ok changing from HD - HD channel and SD - HD channel but if i try to go from HD - SD i just get a black screen

i've similar setup, but no issues at all (connected via component)

im connected via HDMI

seems it was the HDMI switcher, worked without a fault on my pv500 but the px600 seems to object to it for some reason.
it was a CHDMI31 from lektropacks, if anyone has the same setup id be interested to know if yours works ok
