    Hi,
I was on the verge of putting down the dollar for one of the new Panasonic TH-42PZ70 panels when I realised it was just too damn big for my lounge. A 37" panel feels about right for the room but then I'm back to square one about what to buy. I still think plasma is the way to go (above 32" at least) and I need one which does a good job with SD and HD. From what I've seen the Panny TH37PX70 is a good choice but with the new PZ series out already (but no 37" panel so far) I wonder if I should plump of the PX 37", wait for a PZ 37" 1080 panel (probably not worth using 1080 @ that size but hey) or is there another one worth considering?

    Comments Welcome.

    Bob.

only panny do 37" plasma and they are soon to do a 37" 1080p LCD also according to various reports on the web and their japanese site

there are some variations in the 37" range between PX7, PX70. Personally I think PX70 is the one to go for - PX7 is a bit "cut-down" and does nto have the saem picture processing. In 42" there is PX70, PX700 but not convinced PX700 extras are worth it.

if you want a full hd 1080p plasma from panny then look to the new TH42PZ70...they don;t do a full hd in 37" plasma and there is no indiaction they will...doubt you would really see the difference with 1080p anyway until you go larger than 37"

    hope that helps!

There isn't a 37PX700 and there will not be a 37" PZ. Go for the 37PX70, good screen and good value at sub £700.
