    hi there,

i can exchange my philips 329986 lcd at empire direct and have 2000.00 to spend.

i was thinking of getting a th37pw7b which comes complete with a scart board for 1400.00

how many scarts come with the board and how many are rbb?

i don't need a tuner (going to plug digi box direct into scart) and i have speakers.

i want a hdmi board but i don't think they are in stock.

is there anything else that i must have and how good with this tv be?

    thanks

Scart board has only one socket so you would need something like the Quintro scart box if you have a lot of devices you want to connect this way. The scart is RGB and I think is supposed to accept S-Video as well but I haven't been able to persuade it to do so. I find the connection quality very good but others have said that the component board is much better. Probably depends on the connections of the rest of your equipment.
