I've been looking at these too and as far as I can see the only difference is the size (37" and 42").

    Hello Both

The two 37" panels from Panasonic are:
    TH-37PWD4BX in Charcoal (UK spec).
    TH-37PW4B in Silver.

And the two 42" panels are:
    TH-42PWD4BX in Charcoal (UK spec).
    TH-42PW4B in Silver.

The 37" and 42" panels are both 852 x 480 panels - so use different pieces of glass with a smaller pixel pitch on the 37" panel.

The 42" D4 model differs from the other 42" model and the 37" models in that it has an optional DVI card that is NOT available for the other three panels.

    Best regards

    Joe

The 42 is also a bit brighter.
