I have just got this TV from DABS and I could not be more happy with it, great picture etc. However I thought i would connect up my 656a DVD player to it using the componant connections, this worked fine and I checked it witha couple of discs, I then turned everything off as I had other things to do. Anyway when turning it all back on again, the TV does not pick up the componant output and I had to reset the DVD player in order to get apicture again using the scart connection. I was able to switch back to the componant setting and tried switching it off and back on again and the same thing happened ie no picture!

    Anybody got any ideas?

    Cheers

I presume you have RGB enabled over SCART, try turning this off.

I have the PE50 - its best to remove the Scart lead altogether..just use the Component and see if the problem remains (bearing in mind that Component only deals with picture, not sound so hopefully you have an amp etc).
I found that if a Scart is left in the DVD-TV connection, the set will 'default' to it over the Component cable.

Thanks guys, it was because I had RGB still turned on for the scart connection, I had to turn this off and it worked fine. And dont worry about the sound I have a full surround set up.

    Cheers
