Hi, can some one please answer my question.

If I use a DVI-D board instead of a HDMI one, will it work ok with my Blue ray player using a HDMI to DVI-D cable. I know that it will only send the video signal & no audio but will it be as good as using HDMI.

If I remember correctly it handles HDCP correctly and gives native resolution for 60Hz material, 720p and 1080i for 50Hz. You should find relevant info on Panasonic website.

both boards will run 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i fine from a Blu-Ray player.

The DVI board will also give you 1:1 pixel mapping at 60Hz (although not at 50Hz) if you need it - according to the 8-series brochure, the HDMI board doesn't do this.
