It will still be compatible, since it will accept the appropriate inputs/signals but will downscale the image, afaik

That's the US model too, just in case you wondered why it's cheap.

But they are identical, apart from the price and modelnumber?

No, one is 120V, one is 230/240V. No warranty whatsoever with a US product in UK either.

No prob with rules I'm sure! Problem is identified, the seller has not a flippin' clue what planet he's on, it's a UK model, but designation in UK is TH42PWD8BK, B being uk, K being black. The 'UK' is the black US model, by confusing coincidence....

Raw sex mate, if you can get it at that price. Goung rate is £1400 ish, that would be a good deal in fact. Anything less is excellent. As you are a grown up, I'll leave the 'ebay is risky' lecture.

I spoke to the seller but bought elsewhere in the end. He was very helpful and seemed to know his stuff. It's definatley the UK model as he was telling me how the US models come with the dual-boards installed. You can also pay on collection which eliminates the eBay risk.

Got it from Spectrum with 3 year warranty included.

[Edit] - This link is better as it mentions the 10% accessories discount and free lead. :smashin:

Nice one mate. Just called them for an idea of delivery date if I ordered today. Waiting to hear back.

Thanks for the tip re the 10% off accessories, he failed to mention that despite me asking him for his 'best price for Panel and ped' for an immediate order.
    Sneaky beggars.

You'll have to email for pricing. No quoting allowed on the forum.
