tft sharpness

    is there any sort of program that would enable a tft monitor to be a bit sharper with the picture quality?
    just finding it a bit annoying for games as opposed to a crt
    just a wonder
    :)

    If it's motion "blurring" you're referring to, nothing can be done apart from sourcing a faster response panel (Hitachi CML174, NEC etc.).

    Other usuals are make sure your running at native resolution via DVI (if possible).

    yeah its the bluring when theres a fast game etc.
    ahh well, ill just have to keep living with it

    which tft? they are not all the same and the 'response times' are not much use in determining their gaming potential.

    check tomshardware.com for some good reviews.

    I've got a pair of Hyundai Q17s which are excellent when fed from my dual DVI card.
