After a week of playing, owning, finding fault?... and despite it's unusual connectivity/cabling method and less functional picture in picture...

So far happy, but lost in a world of confusion regarding the whole cabling issue.

JUst want an adapter to plug into scart that will accept Y/Pr/Pb, would love to wire one up myself, but all my cables are rubber / not plastic (so an utter bitch to wire up).

Wired up component to scart now getting excellent picture quality from dvd playback and progressive .Standard TV transmissions can sometimes look a little flat but on the whole a real bargain, with a good signal source this LCD can deliver an excellent picture just need to update my SCARTS for better quality leads and get a good SCART switching box and im done.

Worth a bump for those that may have picked up one over the weekend.... not bad results I think.... I didn't realise there were 27 or so owners here to be honest. :smashin:

The simple test for me was my neighbour came round to borrow a tv after his blew up, saw the new tevion, he was so impressed went out the next day and bought a LCD. However, he got a smaller, more expensive furguson LCD, with worse connection options (i had to set it up for him). That's when i was sure i'd got much more for my money than i'd hoped for!
The only downside is i'm now off to buy better kit to do justice to the telly!

My PiP works fine i have no quarrel with that but my tv was bought in aldi scottish branch and as far as I am aware of the tevion 32" went on sale in scotland after it went on sale in England I just want to know if the X2vga works with it. I am now bothered to much if it does'nt work with scart as I am sure Medion will sort this problem.

Hi mate... it's probably a good idea to post your query on this Tevion thread instead.... http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1751586

As this is the one we have made both Medion and Aldi aware of.... so they can see all the issues as they arise...there are also some comments about the x2vga I think in later replies.... (its a very long message thread though)
