Testing a new Macbook Air

Hi all,

I've just bought my first Mac, a new 13" MBA. It was delivered today direct from Apple in China, and I'd like to test it now before I put it away until Christmas. (I understand there's a 14-day no-quibble guarantee).

Any suggestions on the best way to test for any hardware faults and stuck pixels?

Thanks,
Neil

Do you mean apart from, boot it up, create an account, test it with wireless and test all the ports? That should cover it.

I think the AHT boot volume (is there one?) will allow this - at least in the past. It allows testing of various parts of the hardware, including memory tests, video test patterns, etc.

EDIT: check out here for some prior familiarisation.
