    Hi,

    Can anyone recommend a good test pattern to help setup a htpc with different screen types. ie. lcd, crt proj etc

    I seem to remember a good one at the event 2 in guildford.

    Test pattern used at Event2 was the Snell and Wilcox MPEG test pattern on DVE.

    If you are after a test pattern to check for 1:1 mapping do this:-

    Right click on an empty area of the Start bar and choose Task Manager.
    Select third tab called "Performance"
    Maximise the Task Manager window.
    Double click on either of the graphs.

    This will give you an almost full screen graph with single pixel horizontal and vertical lines. Using this its an absolute doddle to see when you have 1:1 mapping or not.
