What do you mean e-mail you one?

You normally have to buy a DVD such as Video Essentials or Avia. And then there are PAL and NTSC versions depending on what you want to calibrate.

But DVE is only £14.99 from Play. There is also more than just a test pattern on it.

I think DVE would be much better as it gives you plenty of information on how to use the test patterns. You also get colour filters for use with some patterns and there's an audio setup section. The navigation of DVE is very unusual though.

People here will always help you.

You should try NOT to get everything for free.....

Some things in life you must pay for - even if it is so you can get a feeling of money well spent......

Thing of the past unfortunately, now that we have 24hour tv. :(

I used to hate seeing that on the tv as a kid because it meant there wasn't anything on to watch, but now I miss it because there's nothing to set your tv to. Maybe using an RF converter from a DVD player might work though.

I've seen that but doesn't it use the PC desktop rather than the overlay?

I was after some ramped RGB scales so ended up making my own. There's a guy over on AVS who is making a test disk and is taking requests for test patterns that people want so he can include them.

    Gary.
