I've just finished building my first pc and was wondering if there was any way/software to test its overall performance in case something is going wrong that I'm not aware of.

Thanks. Does it test everything at once or do I need to follow-up with another program?

It tests everything and gives you a score which you can then compare against similar PCs around the world.

I'm not too sure what this means but I got a 6053.5 rating. Does getting there means everything works fine? Am I ready to dismantle my old pc now?

    Few others to try..

Cpu stabilty, prime95 & intel burn test

Graphics benchmark tests.. 3dmark (search steam),
    Unigine heaven and unigine valley.
    MSI kombuster.

    Search benchmark thread for comparisons.

I usually run Prime95 for a bit to make sure the cpu cooling is ok and its all running stable. For the GPU 3dmark is good or furmark if you want to stress it.

Thank you lads. Should I run Prime95 for hours, what's the average length people use it for? Been on 20 mins now without issues.

I think theres specific sets of tests you can run.. I tend to just leave it ticking over for 30 minutes.. ish but your CPU should be up to its max temp after a few minutes. After 20 minutes, Id imagine your cpu will be at its upper limit, if the machine hasnt completely bombed out sounds like its stable as well.

That's a very good score actually. If your system is stable then you should have nothing to worry about and can start dismantling the old one. :smashin:

I'm not sure whether the test makes use of SLI but this is what I got for comparison.

That's the main gaming bench as used by most people. Again you can upload the results and compare against similar systems. :smashin:

Not really worth buying tho at that price unless want to fiddle. All test comparisons are done at same settings that are available on free version.
Give it a go and posr in the benchmark thread. Could do with a revive

I think I saw a demo indeed, will check again tomorrow. No sign of a benchmark thread though.
