I am trying to decide between 2 players:

    Sony ns705
    Philips 763sa

Both get good reviews, but the test data appears to tell a different tale.
Sony: all counts are very good or excellent
Philips: Video jitter - below average (8ns)
signal to noise ratio - below average
    chroma crosstalk - below average
    (all others good /very good)

I am beginnning to understand some of the terminology after searching this forum and reading the explanation of the tests, but both reviews are good - both players get 4.5/5 for picture quality and overall

Can anyone enlighten me as to how much the test data actually matters?
    Thanks
